There are far too many movies that are antiwar movies coming out of Hollywood, and quite frankly it does a disservice to the United States of America and our strength abroad. Worse, Hollywood all too often makes us look bad around the world, and then many of the actors go out of their way to trash the American Military, and/or to apologize for our military actions. Nobody in the United States of America should apologize for anything, we are a great nation, and we do great things all over the world to help people.
Just because some dictator, or socialist or communist president uses their influence to trash the USA in the world media, does not mean that our actors in Hollywood should oblige. Now I realize that Hollywood sells its movies all over the world, but there is no reason they can't show the United States of America in a good light, and the reality of the situation is this is a great country. And with people like that in Hollywood who go out of their way to condemn this country, well, I ask you; who needs enemies. In my opinion they are hurting liberty and freedom in the world by trashing a great nation who believes those principles.
Not long ago, there was the announcement of the new antiwar Movie coming out of Hollywood soon, called; "Lions for lambs" and it will probably be watched by a lot of people because the cast has some very popular actors and actresses; namely Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, and Robert Redford. The movie is also directed by Robert Redford, and the screenwriter is Matthew Michael Carnahan. I sincerely hope these individuals are proud of themselves for trashing the United States of America, a capitalist nation which has provided them with an incredible lifestyle.
Without capitalism around the world, which the United States has spread, there wouldn't be anyone buying our movies to watch, these folks wouldn't be able to make a living, or live at the top of the food chain overlooking Los Angeles, and its beautiful beaches. In my personal view, it's unfortunate that Hollywood cannot get a grip on reality. Although I think Meryl Streep, Robert Redford, and Tom Cruise are incredible actors in every regard, it upsets me to no end, and Il personally ask you to think twice about seeing this movie, and I ask that you do too - Do we really need any more antiwar movies? It seems to me at least that we've produced far too many in the past, and that it's hurt our nation's standing in the world.
These folks may feel compelled to show their views on the silver screen, and their passion for peace. hey we all want peace in the world, no doubt, no body wants a way. And yet, it appears these actors have compromised their good standings as Americans, and I am not impressed. If this is what actors choose to do with their celebrity status, and all the money that us moviegoers and consumers have given them, then may I suggest that, just perhaps; they don't deserve the money in the first place? Please consider all this.
